Curious can join your video call as a notetaker, record it, and bring back a full transcript, so you can be present instead of typing. (Live recording is part of the Max plan.)
Send Curious to a call
- Open the interview and go to the Interview tab, then the Recording section.
- Paste your Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, or GoTo link.
- Confirm you have permission to record, then send the notetaker (or press Join now if the call is starting).
Schedule it ahead of time
- Turn on Send the notetaker automatically in Settings, Integrations (a one-time recording-permission confirmation).
- On the interview, add the video call link and the interview start time.
- Curious schedules the notetaker to join at that moment. Change the time or link to reschedule; cancel any time.
Getting the transcript
- After the call, Curious imports the transcript automatically. It takes a minute or two, and you'll get a notice when it's ready.
- Find it in the Transcript tab. It also powers your show notes and tunes future questions to your voice.
Tip: the notetaker joins visibly as "Curious Notetaker" and posts a notice in the chat, so everyone knows it's there.
